In 2023 Yamaha released four new colors for the XSR 155 neo-retro sport bike

Starting in 2023, Yamaha released four new colors for the XSR 155 neo-retro sport bike. Four new colors were introduced, namely Metallic Red Authentic, Light Blue Wanderlust, Metallic Black Elegance, and Matte Silver Premium.

First, the Metallic Red Authentic color is inspired by classic Yamaha motorcycles. The red color is attached to the tank area and side body plates combined with black.


Second, Yamaha offers a fresh color, namely Light Blue Wanderlust. The light blue color melts in the fender area, body, to the rear area.


The third color, Matte Silver Premium, this time also received a refresher. Dominated by the silver color which emphasizes the garage atmosphere, showing the freedom of a biker to express himself when driving in the style of the Yamaha XSR 155. The fenders, side covers and rear of the motorbike have been changed to silver, and the seats which were originally brown have now turned black.

Then for those who like black, Metallic Black Elegance is available. Specifically for this color, the USD part is painted using gold color.



Yamaha presents a new color that is pinned on the XSR 155 which is a superior heritage sport motorbike with many fans in the Indonesian market. The presence of the XSR 155 with these attractive colors further supports the consumer's driving lifestyle

This new color Yamaha XSR 155 retails for $2600 on the road.

Overview of the Yamaha XSR 155

The Yamaha XSR 155 has a heritage sport motorbike concept, visible from the stern of the Drip-Shaped tank, classic heritage single seat seats and round front and rear lights with modern LED technology. Despite its classic appearance, the Yamaha XSR is equipped with up-to-date technology with a retro-style full LCD Digital Speedometer equipped with a Multi Information Display (MID).

In addition, this motorbike also has the Assist & Slipper Clutch feature, the Assist feature makes the clutch operation lighter when pulling the clutch lever, while the Slipper clutch functions to prevent slippage of the rear wheels when doing the engine brake, when downshifting quickly.

The XSR 155 has also adopted an Up Side Down (USD) suspension which not only gives a dashing impression to the motorbike but also improves handling when driving. The XSR 155 is equipped with a liquid-cooled 155cc, SOHC, 4-stroke Fuel Injection engine which is supported by VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology which can create even torque at each engine speed. On paper, the Yamaha XSR 155 can spit out 14.2 kw of power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm.

Meanwhile on the legs, the XSR 155 has adopted an Up Side Down (USD) suspension which not only gives a dashing impression to the motorbike but also improves handling when driving. Regarding the tires themselves, this model uses dual-purpose tires designed for mobilization in various road conditions with sizes 110/70 at the front and 140/70 at the rear.
