Mercedes-Benz has been busy preparing for the birth of the latest generation eclass that will debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2016. Manufacturers based in Stuttgart, Germany has just released a video that describes the process of development of the latest Mercedes E-Class.
Reported Carscoops, Monday (12/28/2015), Mercy said, he has developed the E-Class technology over the last two years. Throughout two years, Mercy has produced 1,200 prototype driven more than 12 million kilometers in some conditions.
In fact, Mercedes E-Class has been tested in extreme conditions. Starting from temperatures below 0 degrees to the test in the hottest desert in the world had been passed during testing.
More recently, a number of pictures and details have also been released. Brand-new generation E-Class will adopt the design of the C-Class and S-Class.
One of the most important features are two 12.3-inch screen as an option, the instrument cluster replaces analog and the other acts as a display entertainment system. If consumers do not want to display it, they will get a smaller middle screen size 8.4 inches.
While under the hood, it has been confirmed that the E-Class will use a brand-new six-cylinder engine options, four-cylinder diesel engine and a hybrid variant.
