Prepare KTM Motor engined Newer Substitute Duke / RC

KTM Duke 200 launched motor sport - which is the basis Duke variants, such as Duke 390 - at the beginning of 2012, intends to 'pension off' the series. Instead motors with a platform and a new engine was launched in 2017.
Page Bikewale, Tuesday (29/12/2015), reported that the newer generation will use the platform and engine that is completely new. This is part of ongoing reform efforts undertaken KTM since a few years ago.

KTM exemplifies updates that are performed on the KTM RC390. Starting from the exhaust to meet the Euro4 standards, technology fly-by-wire throttle, and braking devices are equipped with Antilock Braking System, are some examples of updates that are performed.

Stefan Pierer, KTM Chief Executive Officer said, the new generation model will be based on the platform entirely new engine. While, other sources mention the brand-new motor design style will also be of Duke / RC Series available today.

As for measures to stop the production of the KTM Duke / RC Series will be starting later this year.
