The Toyota RAV4 is a compact crossover SUV produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota. It was first introduced in 1994 as one of the first compact SUVs in the market and has since become one of the best-selling vehicles in its class. The name RAV4 stands for "Recreational Active Vehicle with 4-wheel drive."
Toyota is not a new player in the field of electric cars. The proof can be seen from the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) line up such as the Corolla Cross Hybrid EV, Corolla Altis Hybrid EV, CHR Hybrid EV, and Camry Hybrid EV. Of course the Toyota-style HEV line up will still increase in the future.

The second generation of the Ayugo was then launched in 2014. However, there are no significant changes made by Toyota. Only later in this latest generation, Toyota presents the Aygo X which is more radical and different from the previous model.
