Honda Launches the 2022 Model SH350i Scooter, The Design is More Sporty and Has Contemporary Features.

Honda Europe released the SH350i big scooter model year 2022 on Friday (11/5/21) last week. Although the design line is still the same as the 2021 model, Honda provides a sporty refresh to this automatic motorcycle that is selling well in the European market.

"After a comprehensive 2021 update, with more power from the larger capacity engine plus a complete styling refresh, the Honda SH remains unchanged for 2022. But two new 'Sporty Edition' versions that come with new colors and other design touches expand the options available. offered," wrote Honda through an official release that they distributed on the Honda Europe website.

As they explained, the 2022 Honda SH350i comes with two new, sportier variants, namely Pearl Falcon Gray and Mat Blacky Gray Metallic. For the 2022 model year, Honda removed one of the red colors which they called Pearl Splendor Red.

"Both Sporty Edition colors also feature some more premium touches including matt gray wheels, fork lower, rear carrier and engine cover, red stitching on the seats, red and gray wheel strips, plus a red Honda logo up front and a red 'SH logo. ' in the side seat," wrote Honda.

The latest Honda SH350i still carries the same engine as the previous version. The engine is the same engine used in the Honda Forza 350. On paper, the engine is 330 cc, SOHC technology and single cylinder.

SH350i uses an engine that is almost square in character. The piston diameter is 77 mm, while the stroke distance is 70.7 mm. The compression ratio is at 10.5:1 and of course this machine has passed the EURO5 emission standard to be sold in the European market.

Honda claims that the power that can be released from this gambot engine penetrates 28.8 HP at 7,500 RPM and 32 Nm of torque at 5,250 RPM. Honda also claims, from a standstill to a distance of 200 meters can be completed in 10.2 seconds.

This engine is also equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). With this technology, the engine can detect the difference in power in the front and rear tires, calculate the slip ratio, and control the amount of torque released. So that the SH350i is safer in terms of control, especially on sandy roads or wet roads.

Honda also provides this SH350i with a USB Type C charging hole located under the seat. Then there are also smart key features, LED headlights, cluster instruments that use LCDs and Emergency Stop Signals to prevent the motorbike from crashing behind.

Honda has not released the official price of the SH350i for the 2022 model year. However, as reported by the Honda Germany page, the SH350i in the 2021 price list is priced at around 6,120 euros.
